MOE Components
Early Childhood Education
The Ministry of Education (MoEdu) oversees Early Childhood Education (ECE), ensuring young children receive foundational learning through initiatives like the Zambia Enhancing Early Learning (ZEEL) project.
Primary Education
MoEdu is responsible for primary education, focusing on improving teaching and learning conditions to enhance educational outcomes in subjects such as language arts, science, and mathematics.
Secondary Education
MoEdu oversees secondary education, including the construction of new schools and the improvement of existing ones, as part of efforts like the Zambia Education Enhancement Project Additional Finance (ZEEP AF).
Colleges of Teacher Education
